We are hiring for ambitious technology startups building the next generation of food delivery. The ghost kitchen industry is currently in hyper-growth mode looking for rock-stars to work at their facilities. They are constantly growing and innovating in the space and are looking for driven and excited people who can help build out the role and help grow the business and function!
Our many ghost kitchen facilities are looking for Site Supervisor: leaders of their hourly staff members and maintenance of the facility. They are the most senior hourly team members spending their time moving orders; handling administrative and customer support, as well as general maintenance and repairs in the facility.
This is an hourly role; full time commitment 40-50 hrs/ week and best-suited for a professionally minded leader who wants to progress with the company in the long term.
On the job You will be responsible for:
Customer Service and Employee Management
- Leading training and meeting sessions for the facility team members
- Running food during non-administrative shifts
- Coaching new and existing shift leads
- Filling in shifts during call-outs, general staffing help
- Communicating and maintaining relationships with partners daily
- Working with Customer Success team members to ensure partners are ready for big orders / launches / spikes in business
Building Repair and Maintenance
- Performs routine inspections on HVAC units, refrigeration units, water heaters, and ice machines
- Conducts regular facility inspections, maintenance audits, and identifies fire, OSHA and building code violations
- Performs general upkeep and maintenance including cleaning, painting, power-washing, minor landscaping
- Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples include repairing drywall, tile, doors and other building fixtures
- Performs minor plumbing repairs. Examples include repairing or replacing faucet fixtures, water supply and drain lines
- Performs minor electrical repairs. Examples include replacing outlets and lightswitches, diagnosing power consumption, and performing facility power audits
- Assists with assembly, transportation and installation of kitchen equipment
- Documents, reports and maintains log of all maintenance work completed
Tech Support
- Troubleshooting processing center, kitchen, and facility hardware issues
Inventory & Ordering; Audits
- Reviewing daily inventories
- Making orders with vendors to replenish inventories and supplies
- Performing storage and common area audits
Administrative & Strategic
- Training with more senior positions in support, data analytics and reporting
- Participating in planning sessions with management and peers
- Reviewing and reporting KPI metrics to facility management and processing team; contributing to goal setting and planning
You Need to Have:
- Maintenance and repair experience with proven general knowledge of, including but not limited to, painting, carpentry, drywall patching, plumbing and electrical repair
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and composure in a fast paced environment
- Articulately communicate in a professional tone both verbally and in writing
- Ability to problem solve independently
- Flexibility (expect frequent change as we define the future)
