Hiring for Experienced Veterinary Assistant/Technician

We are looking for a compassionate Veterinary Assistant/Technician to support our Veterinarian and staff in providing excellent care to our patients.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Assisting in holding and restraining animals for examinations

- Ensuring rooms are stocked and sanitized

- Maintaining kennel cleanliness

- Administering vaccinations

- Assisting in collecting samples such as blood and urine

- Effectively communicating with owners and families

Basic Requirements:

-High school Diploma or equivalent

- 1+ year(s) of experience in animal care or clinic environment

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

- Basic knowledge of animal behavior and health care

- Passion for working with animals and their owners

- Attention to detail

- Physical ability to stand, walk, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the day

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.01 per hour

• 4 hour shift

Experience:

• Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
