Kitchen Tune-Up is seeking an Experienced Cabinet Installer to work on kitchen remodeling projects in the Buffalo, NY area.

Skills:

• Ability to lead a team using knowledge and experience in trim carpentry
• Ability to use power tools and hand tools (speed square, drill, jigsaw, table saw, etc.)
• Ability to read blueprints and lay out a kitchen as designed
• Ability to demo a kitchen and install cabinetry as per plan
• Ability to accurately measure and cut with a variety of tools
• Ability to accurately drill for hinges & pulls and install hardware
• Ability to install doors and drawer fronts
• Ability to install roll-out trays and other storage options in cabinets
• Prior experience in cutting & installing moldings
• Prior experience in cutting & installing crown, base, toe kick, and trim
• Ability to successfully paint and use paint supplies
• Ability to Install drywall, tile, flooring, and other interior trim materials (not required, but preferred)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Arrive at the Orchard Park showroom on time at 7am in logo’d shirt and appropriate work clothing
• Stock company vehicles with necessary tools and materials to complete job requirements for the day
• Continually communicate with employees and project manager about needs and progress
• Consistently problem solve and find solutions for construction related instances
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols for installations
• Work quickly and efficiently while respecting customers’ homes and privacy
• Keep work area clean and orderly and clean up at the end of your shift daily
• Follow Trustpoints, laid out by Kitchen Tune-Up, on every job

Job Requirements:

• Positive attitude and ability to communicate well with customers and colleagues
• Ability to work in Buffalo, NY and surrounding communities
• Reliable transportation to and from work Monday-Friday
• Must take personal pride in a job well done the first time
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions without deviating
Ability to perform physical labor, including but not limited to lifting and moving heavy objects multiple times a day

Experience:

• 4+ years of carpentry, trim carpentry, construction, or residential renovation

Ongoing training and coaching provided.
Pay based on experience: 60k year
