Full Job Description

Job Title: Service Technician

Compensation: $60,000 - $120,000 per year + Sign On Bonus = $2,500.00

Work Hours: 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday and very LIMITED on-call

The Service Technician is responsible for performing day-to-day service calls, tune-ups and troubleshooting for new and existing clients

Reports to: Service Manager

Responsibilities and Duties

• Diagnose and repair all types of residential heating, cooling & IAQ products
• Maintain accurate and detailed dispatch/invoice notes of the services performed
• Responsible for delivery of excellent customer service and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction
• Maintain professional demeanor and attitude at all times.
• Diagnoses and performs services on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, as well as accessories, in an accurate and timely manner
• Inspects equipment and performs diagnostics on equipment to identify potential problems to prevent premature and unexpected breakdowns or callbacks
• Responsible for delivery and removal of parts and equipment needed to complete service work
• Performs day-to-day service calls, tune-ups and troubleshooting
• Promotes products and services to the customer; calls Sales and Service Coordinator with specifics on replacement product sales leads generated from customer service visit

• Commit to developing "Over-The-Top" customer service skills
• Organized
• Geographical knowledge of sales area or map reading skills
• HVAC experience a plus
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Clear communication skills
• Ability to use positive language
• Ability to handle surprises
