Key Responsibilities

  • Read interprets, and executes drawings, schematics, blueprints and electrical code specifications to see layout of commercial electrical equipment installations
  • Test electrical equipment and parts for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
  • Installs, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber optic, and line assemblies, lighting, and alternative electrical parts
  • Install electrical circuits, as well as panels, conduit, protective devices, switches, and equipment required to accommodate the CEC and/or NEC
  • Work on electrical failures and replacements
  • Correct connections and wiring on equipment
  • Complies with all industry safety standards and Mountain Wireless safety guidelines

Physical Demands

  • Must be willing to travel out of market/state for work on different job sites,
  • Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 50 pounds; includes body weight, equipment, tools and boxes
  • Must have sound vision to be able to identify different colored wires by sight
  • May be required to work long and unpredictable hours and meet project deadlines
Requirements
  • Able to find the root cause of issues and think logically about solutions
  • Diagnose problems with critical thinking to repair issues
  • Read blueprints and schematics and use array of tools and diagnostic devices to service and install electrical parts
  • Must pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing; participate in random testing program
  • Must have strong communication and organization skills
  • Ability to read blueprints and instructions
  • Must be able to work effectively with a team to get projects and job completed
