ServiceMaster Advanced Restorations is a disaster restoration company located in Euless, TX. We specialize in disaster related to water, fire, pack out, mold, textiles and reconstruction. We are the largest ServiceMaster company in the state of Texas, and we are continuing to grow.

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter or Handyman for our Reconstruction / Rebuild Department.

Job Type: Full Time, year round

Pay: $18 to $25 per hour

Responsibilities

• Work in the field, on residential and commercial projects under the direction of Construction Coordinator, Superintendents, or Project Managers
• General construction, finish carpentry, drywall repair or install, cabinet install or removal, painting, and general repairs
• Ability to work both independently and with other team members to complete projects on time and to customer's satisfaction
• Effectively and proactively communicate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
• Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Reconstruction department
• Willingness to work after hours or on weekends as needed with little notice for emergency projects.

• 2+ years verifiable handyman experience
• Fluent in English - Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a major plus
• Basic math skills related to construction
• Ability to regularly lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Ability to walk, stand, and operate machinery continuously throughout the work day
• MUST HAVE Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability and willingness to follow all safety rules and regulations and to maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn new skills
• Experience with restoration is a plus
