Commercial Service Electrician
Job Summary:
The Commercial Service Electrician provides customer service in the field to install, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide range of electrical systems in commercial facilities. These systems include electrical control, wiring, power distribution, and lighting systems.

Primary Responsibilities
- Diagnoses electrical issues through observation, testing and setup as required.
- Performs the following electrical work: testing/repair/replacement and general troubleshooting and/or repair of electrical control, wiring, power distribution, and lighting systems.
- Performs planned maintenance and inspections as indicated in service agreements.
- Completes service contracts, quoted service projects and demand service calls as directed.
- Responsible for updating work orders in an electronic work order system.
- Develops relationships with customers and explains work performed to the customer's satisfaction.
- Participates in an on-call rotation.
- Maintains equipment, tools, and inventory stock on company service vehicle.
- Safely drives company vehicle, follows requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all safety requirements.
- 5+ years of relatable electrical experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial electrical systems including but not limited to wiring, switches, interior lighting, lighting controls, pole lights, outlets, panels, and low voltage circuits.
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Codes.
- Ability to read and understand diagrams and blueprints.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
