All Air Mechanical is looking for a hard-working dedicated HVAC Service Technician to add to our team of highly talented and motivated individuals. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will deliver exceptional HVAC Service and Maintenance on commercial and residential heating and air conditioning systems, as well as oversee the work of our HVAC Service Apprentices to ensure all work is performed correctly and is reflective of our company values.
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform maintenance and cleaning on all types of HVAC equipment (Commercial and Residential).
- Troubleshoot and repair to applicable codes, with limited supervision.
- Effectively communicate, answer questions, explain problems and repairs, as well as recommend such to customer and/or service manager.
- Accurately complete required documentation on services performed (age and type of equipment, services performed, invoice with cost for services performed and more).
- Submit purchase orders to designated purchasing team administrators.
- Transport materials and tools to job site and provide proper care of assigned tools.
- Ensure vehicle is stocked and accurately inventoried. Keep vehicle clean and in safe working order.
- Train, coach, and mentor apprentices.
- 3 to 5 years of verifiable work experience in the HVAC industry
- Knowledge of the fundamental operational functionality of commercial and residential air conditioning, heating, and ventilation equipment.
- Able to troubleshoot problems with refrigerant, electrical, and duct systems on HVAC equipment.
- Valid driver's license with good record
- Good computer skills
- EPA Certification (required) and NATE Certification (preferred)
- Work with limited supervision in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Able to work in tight spaces, such as attics and/or crawl spaces, and occasionally work from heights 15 feet or higher above ground.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, to push, pull, carry, or maneuver heavier items.
- Willing to work hours outside of normal work schedule, as needed.
