Starting pay range is $30-35/hr (DOE)

Design Build Mechanical is looking for an experienced working foreman to perform work and manage the work of others ensuring safety, quality and efficiency are maintained on commercial projects at all times. Foreman are responsible for managing up to five-man crews on one project at a time and working on their tools with their crews to complete projects safely, with attention to quality and deadlines. We seek a seasoned Foreman able to run projects on his own with minimal need for guidance who communicates professionally and possesses strong leadership qualities. The position is full-time and offers many great benefits, including a generous pay structure, travel opportunities, and room for growth within the organization.

FOREMAN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performing mechanical work and overseeing the team's work to anticipate, detect, and address factors that impede operations.
• Enforcing safety regulations and protocols
• Creating and managing the staff, maintenance, and work schedules.
• Conducting performance reviews with staff
• Interpreting plans and coordinating with other trades
• Implementing strategies to optimize workflow and operational efficiency.
• Ensuring that all equipment and machinery are properly operated and maintained.
• Work from verbal instructions, drawings, blueprints, sketches, bills of material, etc.

• 4 + years experience as a Foreman
• 10 + years HVAC experience
• EPA certification that is up to date and valid
• Fit for climbing and hands on mechanical work performing installations, retro-fits and new construction.
• Proficient in reading plans and coordinating with other trades
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• High School degree or equivalent
• Pass background check and drug screen
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record
