Meinecke-Johnson Company is seeking skilled carpenters to join our team.

As a carpenter, you will perform a variety of tasks in the commercial construction industry utilizing both hand and power tools. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to teach the right candidate.

The majority of our projects are local to the FM Metro. This allows our employees to be home every night and on weekends. Half day Fridays will let you enjoy a long weekend all year long.

Job Duties:

- Measure, shape, and cut materials
- Rough Carpentry (Framing, Backing, Window Blocking)
- Finish Carpentry (Interior Wood Trim, Cabinets, etc)
- Installation of Doors and Hardware
- Unloading and Loading of Materials
- Misc. labor including cleaning
- Other Duties as assigned by Superintendent

Desired Skills:

- Willingness to learn new skills
- Responsible, Accountable, and Dedicated
- Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment
- Strong Math Skills
- Able to lift, carry, and climb ladders
- Ability to lift and carry 50 – 75lbs
- Willingness to work 9hrs/day
