About Us:

Grafstrom Construction has been in the construction business since 2013. It started 10 years ago in Fargo as a one man show with the occasional help from a couple high school buddies. It has since grown to a company of ~20 full time employees focusing on commercial construction projects. Boring intro facts aside (yawn), it’s a fun company to work for! Just ask anyone who works here. We take our work and our commitments seriously, but we have fun doing it. We’ve built a reputation for doing quality work, on time, in any environment. The Position:

We’re looking for a carpenter with...

• Proven experience as a carpenter.
• Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials.
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, drills etc.).
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
• Good physical condition and endurance.
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• ***Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidates.

Pay/Schedule:

Hourly pay based on experience level. Flexible schedule. Work your 40 hours with no rigid daily start/end times (within reason). Some crew members prefer to start at 6:00am and others prefer to start at 8:30am. *If* the current job(s) allow for it, start/end times are flexible. Move things around when necessary for day care drop off/pick up, doctor appointments, Grandma Edith’s 100th birthday, etc.

The Location:

Our shop and offices are located in Fargo, ND. Fargo is known for its breathtaking mountain views, towering Redwood forests, and stunning white sand beaches. And wind. Okay mostly just the wind. But seriously, it’s a land of good people. You’ll like it here.
