Carpenter

Silco construction of Macedon, NY is currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a skilled artisan who is comfortable with manual labor and has a willingness to learn.

Duties Include:

• Prepare and assemble lumber, plywood, and other materials for construction.
• Work with power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble materials.
• Work in all weather conditions and in all types of weather conditions to prepare and assemble materials for use in projects.
• Perform work under minimal supervision and in accordance with company safety policies.

Skills:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow directions well.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and instructions.
• Ability to use power tools and hand tools.
• Carpentry, trim carpentry, or construction experience preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
