Cable Technician
- 1. must own van, truck, or SUV to use on the job (mileage will be reimbursed)

TechNet Partners is a leading telecommunications company well established in Arizona, California, and Nevada. If you are interested in a position as an in-home service technician, we have local open positions currently based out of the San Diego area. We are looking for technically minded individuals with an aptitude for problem solving and customer satisfaction. We have immediate open positions available for technicians that love staying current in the latest in-home services while making connections in our community. Good driving record is required, and technical experience is preferred.
As a Field Tech, you’ll play an essential role in our mission to connect customers to superior communications and entertainment products with the highest quality service. You will resolve cable and internet issues, and install high-performing cable, TV, Internet, and Voice products throughout the San Diego area. You will become a skilled broadband technician working with coax and fiber networks through our highly proficient training program.

Major Roles and Responsibilities:
Operate your personal vehicle (van, SUV, or truck) to coordinate completion of installation and troubleshooting of broadband communication services. Vehicle must be able to carry a 28' extension ladder, along with all tools and materials for the job. Mileage will be reimbursed.
Daily coordination with service manager and peers to visit and complete scheduled appointments with residential customers of cable TV, internet, phone, and home automation related services.
Demonstrate a level of technical knowledge and possess the ability to WOW customers daily.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical telecommunications and wiring related issues.
Accurately complete all required TechNet installation appointments and service routes in a timely manner.
Complete the required paperwork and track assigned customer premise equipment for completion of the installation or service call.
Keep vehicle well stocked with company provided materials to be best prepared for any work order requiring expert level troubleshooting and resolution.
Perform system testing and troubleshooting as required.
Coordinate tasks appropriately to ensure appointment timeframes are met.

· Willingness to work weekdays, and possible overtime into the evening including weekends when workload requires

Must read, write, and understand English. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must be able to pass a drug a screening as well as background requirements. Availability to work variable hours is required. Ability to distinguish colors is required due to safety requirements and wiring configurations. Must have the ability to carry ladders and equipment. This is not a remote job.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $800.00 - $1,300.00 per week
