Evergreen Building Company LLC is seeking skilled Cabinet Makers with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience to join our energetic and creative shop team.

We have full time W2 positions with top of market pay rates, PTO, holidays, health insurance contribution and plenty of opportunity for advancement.

We are a medium sized company of forward-thinking tradespeople who work together to realize the visions of our clients and designers. Our cabinet shop and construction management offices are located in the Maine Mall Business Building on John Roberts Rd in South Portland.

Duties:

- Construct and assemble cabinets according to shop drawings and specifications
- Occasionally install cabinets in residential and commercial settings
- Utilize various tools and equipment such as saws, routers, drum sanders, jointers, planers, etc.
- Measure and cut materials to the required dimensions
- Occasionally apply finishes, such as stain or varnish, to cabinets
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Experience:

- Previous experience as a cabinet maker or carpenter is required
- Proficiency in reading and understanding shop drawings preferred
- Knowledge of different types of wood and their properties
- Familiarity with cabinet installation techniques and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise
