This highly-interactive position requires working with young clients (age 3- 15), educating families about treatment plans, and working closely to implement the programming of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA). This is not an entry level position and strong candidates will have prior experience working with the special needs population.

Successful candidates have previous ABA experience, strong clinical and interpersonal skills, are able to support various treatment plans and enjoy working with others in the field by providing advice, guidance and a helpful, calm presence during stressful situations.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

  • Be knowledgeable about home and clinic based ABA (training and support continually provided in person - this is not an entry level role)
  • Gather and discuss information with care team (RBT, Lead RBT, BCBA, Clinical Director, Head of Operations)
  • Observe, track and record patient's progress.
  • Assist with running multiple programs.
  • Work well with others, comfortable with asking for help, and open to feedback
  • Attend sessions with consistency

Education:

RBT Certified: Bachelor’s Degree and at least 6 months of continual experience in the RBT role and or paraprofessional setting

Non-RBT Certified: Bachelor's Degree in psychology/related field with previous childcare experience and/or paraprofessional setting. Note RBT certification is required within 6 months of hire for which training, competency, and test are provided by Vilij ABA

Additional:

  • Have consistent and reliable transportation to sessions
  • Eligibility to work in the United States & State of Illinois
  • Certificate in First Aid & CPR Training / willing to become certified

Compensation - $22 - $25 / Hourly, commensurate with experience
