POSITION SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of an Automated gate installer is to install, troubleshoot and service automated gate systems.

AREAS THAT PLAY TO YOUR STRENGTHS

All the responsibilities we will trust you with:

• Perform new gate operator and related and related access control system installations
• Trouble shoot various gate operator equipment/manufacturers
• Program access software
• Cutting vehicle sensing loops into various surfaces
• SMA (stick) welding when necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Work with the team to ensure branch success and provide excellent customer service
• Other duties as required by business needs or as assigned
• Attend manufacturer and industry training seminars as requested

Requirements:

• AFA CGAT or CGAD Certification is preferred but not required
• 1+ year experience in installing both commercial and residential fence preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of basic electrical concepts
• Ability to identify and implement the automation controls sequence of operation for customers

• Ability to read architectural shop drawings • Must be able to work outdoors in all conditions.

• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Ability to read and write and perform basic mathematic functions

EDUCATION/TRAINING

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree
• Obtain AFA CGAT and CGAD within 12 months of hire date at company’s expense if necessary
